When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean RebootCloud. When we say "you" or "your," we're talking about anyone who uses our budgeting tools and financial management services.
This policy applies to all users of our platform, whether you're creating budgets, tracking expenses, or using our financial planning tools.
Information We Collect
Running a budgeting platform means we need certain information to provide you with personalized financial insights. Here's what we collect and why:

We generate spending insights and budget recommendations based on your data, but these analyses happen within your individual account. We don't combine your financial information with other users' data to create broader market insights.

We store your data on secure servers located in Vietnam and Singapore. This keeps your information within regional data protection jurisdictions while ensuring reliable access to our services.
Your financial data is encrypted both when it's stored on our servers and when it travels between your device and our platform. We use AES-256 encryption for stored data and TLS 1.3 for data in transit.
Access Controls

Our service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and can only use it for the specific services they provide to us. They cannot use your information for their own purposes.
Your Rights and Controls
You have several rights regarding your personal data. Here's how you can exercise them and what each one means in practical terms.
Access and Portability
You can download a complete copy of your account data at any time through your dashboard settings. This includes all your budget information, transaction records, and account details in a standard format that you can use elsewhere.
The export process typically takes a few minutes for most accounts. If you have a large amount of transaction history, it might take up to an hour, and we'll email you when it's ready.
Corrections and Updates
You can update most of your information directly through your account settings. For changes to sensitive information like email addresses, we might ask you to verify your identity first.
If you notice any errors in your financial data or account information, you can correct these immediately through the platform or contact our support team for assistance.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Here's what happens when you do:
- Your budgets, transaction data, and financial goals are permanently deleted within 30 days
- Your account information is removed from our active systems immediately
- Some technical logs may remain for up to 90 days for security and legal compliance
- We'll send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. Most of these are essential for the platform to work properly.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for basic functionality. They remember that you're logged in, save your dashboard layout preferences, and ensure secure communication between your browser and our servers.
Analytics Cookies
We use minimal analytics to understand which features are most helpful and where users encounter problems. This data is aggregated and anonymized – we can't trace it back to individual accounts.

Data Retention

Active Accounts
While your account is active, we retain all your data to provide continuous service. You can delete specific transactions or budget categories at any time, and they're removed immediately.
Inactive Accounts
If you don't log in for 24 months, we'll send you an email asking if you want to keep your account active. If we don't hear back within 60 days, we'll begin the deletion process.
Before deleting anything, we'll send you a final notice with instructions on how to reactivate your account if you want to keep your data.
Legal Requirements
Vietnamese financial regulations require us to keep certain transaction records for up to seven years. This applies mainly to business accounts and specific types of financial data, not personal budgeting information.
International Transfers
Most of your data stays within Vietnam and Singapore. Occasionally, we might need to transfer limited information to service providers in other countries.
Your core financial data – budgets, transactions, and goals – never leaves the Southeast Asian region.
When we do transfer data internationally, we use standard contractual clauses approved by relevant data protection authorities and ensure the receiving party provides adequate protection for your information.
Changes to This Policy
We update this privacy policy when we add new features or when legal requirements change. We don't make changes just for the sake of changing things.
When we make significant changes that affect how we handle your data, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. For minor updates or clarifications, we'll post the changes here and update the "Last Updated" date at the top.
You can always find the current version of this policy on our website. If you disagree with any changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.

As a Vietnamese company, we comply with local data protection regulations including the Law on Cybersecurity and relevant decrees on personal data protection.

Vietnamese residents have specific rights under local law, including the right to request information about data processing activities and to file complaints with relevant authorities if you believe your rights have been violated.
